As part of EirGrid and SONI’s role in monitoring current and potential future spend on system services, the TSOs recognise the potential for an increase in the costs of system services. In response to this, we have published an information note on DS3 system services expenditure.

This consultation proposes limited changes to the procurement of DS3 System Services (Volume Uncapped) to mitigate some financial risk that service providers may have encountered due to COVID-19.
